Leigh has a Masters of Counselling and integrates a number of empirically validated counselling and psychotherapeutic approaches. Leigh’s practice is Attachment and Trauma informed. She finds ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) particularly helpful in individual counselling. In couples counselling, Leigh draws on the Attachment Theory based EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy) and Gottman’s work. Leigh works sensitively with people of all faiths or none and has particular competencies in integrating the faith of Christian clients.
